Carpet Bowls

During the winter months, club members can take part in carpet bowls in the club house.  The following opportunities are available:

  • Club matches - sign up to take part in an internal carpet bowls league competition.  You'll be assigned to a team for the winter season with matches taking place on Tuesdays or Thursdays.   
  • The club takes part in the Vale of Mowbray (VoM) carpet bowls league. 
  • Internal competitions - in the latter half of the winter season there is opportunity to take part in internal singles and doubles competitions.

Sign up sheets for the internal league competition and the VoM league are posted on the notice board each year, in late August/early September, at the end of mat 1 in the club house.   Sign up sheets for the internal carpet bowl competitions are posted later in the season.
